Pickering & Butters were proud to support a recent event at Milford Hall Cricket Club held to enable refugee families from the Ukraine to celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day on 24th August.
The event was attended by refugee families and their sponsor families, with food, drink and entertainment on offer, which was all provided through donations from Pickering & Butters and other local businesses, C.Residential Estate Agents, A. Hindle & Sons Butchers, Whitebridge Wines and Titanic Brewery.
The event also caught the attention of local press and radio, with Reverend Geoff Eze from BBC Radio Stoke interviewing Ukranian families, and chairman of Milford Hall Cricket Club, Dave Smith.
